Charter Proposal
Meetings to be held the
second Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm at the township
building's meeting room.
Mission:
The mission of the West
Pikeland Township Strategic Planning Committee is the creation
of a strategic plan by December 31, 2008 identifying, defining,
prioritizing and supporting the goals and objectives integral to
the township’s vision.
Proposed Scope:
1)
Establish a vision statement
approved by the township supervisors which provides a common
ground for the strategic plan
2)
Establish processes for identifying
critical and non-critical community issues
3)
Create a strategic planning
timeline with prioritization of goals and objectives
4)
Recommend best practices for the
effective implementation of the plan; encompassing delegation,
support services and success metrics.
