West Pikeland Township Welcomes New Manager
The Board of Supervisors appointed James “Jim” Wendelgass as Township Manager on May 2nd, 2016. Mr. Wendelgass brings 12 years of experience as a Chester County Township Manager with 20 employees and an annual budget of $6 million. In that role, Mr. Wendelgass was responsible for budgeting, open space planning, construction of new buildings for maintenance and salt storage, and the application for and management of grants. Additionally, Mr. Wendelgass served as a member of the Planning Commission (Chair), Environmental Advisory Council, Land Trust, and Open Space Advisory Committee in West Vincent Township. Mr. Wendelgass was Phi Beta Kappa at Syracuse University and Associate Editor of the Law Review and Order of the Coif’ at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is an active mem-ber of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
