Recycle Your Electronics for Free

No-Charge Recyclables

At LLARC, the following drop-off items are accepted in small quantities from residents at no charge:


PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO STAFF AVAILABLE to help you unload your televisions.

 

 

  • Aluminum beverage cans, pie plates, and clean aluminum foil

  • Antifreeze - 5 gallon limit

  • Cell phones

  • **Computer towers, laptops & peripherals - 3 per household

  • Corrugated cardboard

  • Fluorescent tubes - limit of 5

  • Food and beverage cartons (including milk, juice, soup, broth, and cream cartons). Empty and replace cap.

  • Glass bottles and jars

  • Liquid cooking oil

  • Metal caps and lids

  • Metal food and beverage cans, and empty aerosol cans

  • Mixed paper

  • Mixed scrap metal

  • Newspapers

  • Non-Freon® containing appliances

  • Plastic #1 - 7 food and beverage containers (no Styrofoam)

  • Plastic bags

  • Rechargeable Batteries Only

  • Small Electronic Recyclables

  • Styrofoam (clean block, no packing peanuts)  1 Bag and broken up in 6 inch pieces.

  • **Televisions - 3 TV's per household - Chester County Residents ONLY


    (Proof of residency required)


  • Used motor oil / filters - 5 gallon limit and 5 filters


**If dropping off TV's and computers at the same time, we can accept a combined total of 3 TV's and computers per household. Appointment NOT needed to drop off electronics. 


Note: Please make sure that all cans, plastic, and glass recyclables are free of food residue.

We do not recycle irons, crockpots, vacuum cleaners, etc.
