Workshop & Discussion: Open Space Preservation as a Tool to Manage Extreme Weather

French & Pickering and the Center for Watershed Protection will present the results of a study on the importance of open space preservation in helping to reduce the impact of poorly planned development and more intense rainfall events in northern Chester County.

This program is designed to help local municipal officials, planners, engineers, and the public to understand the role of land preservation as a cost-effective tool to help people, property, and infrastructure prepare as our region experiences more intense storms and development pressure.

All members of the public are welcome to attend. Thursday, October 5 · 9am - 12pm EDT Phoenixville Recreation Center, 501 Franklin Ave, Phoenixville, PA 19460
