Declaration of Emergency due to Severe Winter Weather

The Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce that West Pikeland Township has been awarded a grant in the amount of $231,900 from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) through the Community Conservation Partnerships Program for the Pine Creek Park Rehabilitation and Development Project. On behalf of Governor Josh Shapiro, DCNR recognized this project as outstanding recreation and conservation work that should be shared with the community.

The West Pikeland Township Police Department would like to remind visitors to the village to observe parking signs along Art School Road. We understand that parking is limited with the field next to the Art Studio being unavailable, however, there is ample parking at the library and township building.

Major Infrastructure Improvement Coming in 2026 The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced finalized plans to replace two aging bridges on Art School Road, between Yellow Springs Road and Miller Road. This significant project will enhance safety and traffic flow for our community. Call 1-800-FIX-ROAD (1-800-349-7623) to report the location of potholes on state roads. Callers should be as specific as possible when reporting pothole locations. Be prepared to provide the county, municipality, street name, or preferably the state route (SR) number found on small, black-and-white signs posted along state roadways. When possible, also offer a description of any familiar landmarks that will help PennDOT find the problem area. Once notified, PennDOT will work
