Police Department Management & Cultural Assessment

Updated: Aug 14

As your elected representatives, we are committed to transparency and continuous improvement in all areas of local government—especially public safety. We want to share the importance and purpose of the recently completed Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Management and Cultural Assessment of our township's police department.

In recent years, communities across the country, state, and county have engaged in important conversations around public safety, trust, accountability, and the evolving role of law enforcement. Our decision to engage in this comprehensive assessment reflects our commitment to those same values. The findings from the assessment provide an informed, professional evaluation of our police department’s operations, culture, training practices, policies, and overall effectiveness.

Most importantly, this is a proactive step toward supporting our dedicated police officers.  By investing in these insights, we can help ensure that our public safety services continue to reflect the values of professionalism, accountability, and respect that our community deserves.

We thank you for your continued engagement.
